Yesterday, I posted these unusual things.\u00a0 Today, I tried to add a photo, and then another unusual thing happened.\u00a0 My post disappeared.\u00a0 Poof!\u00a0 Fortunately, my husband, as one of my ‘followers’, had an email version that I could copy.\u00a0 So let’s do this one more time…<\/p>\n

24th Mar – My oldest son is 26 today.\u00a0 This is the first time I’ve had such an old child.<\/p>\n

25th Mar – Walked past a front yard that is all garden, lush and green and shaded by three big trees.\u00a0 Through the luxuriance snakes a path of imitation grass.<\/p>\n

26th Mar – Reading George Sand’s 1838 travel account, Un Hiver \u00e0 Majorque<\/em> – 181 pages.\u00a0 Searched in the library for the English translation, Winter in Majorca<\/em>, assuming it would be the same size, but found a thin 43-pager.\u00a0 Dead authors are fair game for some translators.<\/p>\n

27th Mar – At my nine-year-old student’s house, she misheard my question after a woman unknown to me walked past the table:
\n“Who was that?\u00a0 Is she a relative?,” I asked.
\n“She’s my grandmother,” she replied.
\nAfter a silent moment, she asked, “Why did you say that?”
\n“Say what?”
\n“That she’s irrelevant.”<\/p>\n

28th Mar – Afternoon:\u00a0 A tiny Housing tenant wandered into my yard and sat on my steps, his parents close behind.\u00a0 We chatted;\u00a0 it was pleasant.\u00a0 Another ‘first’.
